VaxTogetherAustin is TogetherAustin’s first program, launched in April 2021. Our free vaccine clinics have provided more than 25,000 vaccinations to Central Texans in community settings.

COVID Vaccines

  • Everyone ages 6 months and older should get the 2024-2025 COVID vaccine, even if you have had one in the past. The COVID vaccine is now updated each year, like the flu vaccine, to prevent severe illness from current strains of the virus.

  • Austin Public Health provides COVID vaccines to children and adults without insurance at no cost.   • COVID vaccines are covered by insurance. Please talk to your local pharmacy to ensure that they accept your insurance, as it may vary by location.

Vaccines for School and Immigration Requirements

  • Vaccine schedules for school and immigration/citizenship requirements vary. Your school nurse or healthcare provider may be able to help you determine which ones are currently needed.
